On October 24th Privateer Press headed down to beautiful San Diego to celebrate the release of Series 4: Monsterpocalypse Now with Monsterpocapalooza Contest winners Artifex.

The night kicked off with the first official Series 4 Masters Event organized and adjudicated by Developer and Playtest Coordinator David "DC" Carl. After three rounds of vicious monster smashing action Artifex's own TJ Reyes and his Elemental Champion force lead by Incinerus stood triumphant, earning him the title of Monsterpocapalooza Masters Champion!

In addition to the Masters Tournament, Privateer also hosted a very special Monsterpocalypse Now sealed event. And, to be sure this was no ordinary sealed event, Privateer Press gave out one of the most elusive Series 1 megas, the diabolical Mega Yasheth, to everyone who participated! Though the competition was fierce, in the end it was Bianca Leos and Anglax who walked away champions.

In addition to the events the folks from Privateer Press brought enough food to satisfy Terra Khan, and held a wild trivia contest with some fantastic prizes. Do you know the maximum number of figures that can be on the map during a two monster game?

Of course the biggest treat of the night was the Full Metal Cyber Khan that everyone walked away with. This guy is an absolute metal monster and should have the Massive skill just to account for his impressive weight!
